SB26-015 Toyota Hybrid Heat Exchanger / Hose Routing

Created by Rudy Quijada, Modified on Tue, 3 Mar at 8:44 AM by Rudy Quijada

This advisory pertains specifically to heat exchanger replacements. Cases have identified instances of

incorrect heater hose routing at the heat exchanger that must be verified before and after replacements.

The upper heater hose should connect to the firewall heater hose junction where the temperature sensor is located.

From this junction, the hose routes downward to the heat exchanger on the side equipped with the thermostat.
