T25-031 - Toyota Galaxy Relay Based Door Opens Ramp Does Not Deploy Pin Point

Check diagnostic LED board for illumination of BTSI/Power LED. 

BTSI/Power LED not illuminated. 

Check activation of door full open limit switch. 

Magnetic Door Full Open Switch – Check alignment of door full open magnet on door foot with magnetic switch. If not aligned, adjust the switch or the door full open latch as needed. The vertical distance between switch and magnet must be close enough to activate switch. 

If properly aligned, check each wire at the switch for continuity to ground. 

Ground present on only one of two wires while being activated with magnet – faulty switch. 

Ground present on both wires while being activated with magnet – switch is ok. 

Check for an open between switch and relay pack. Check for ground at 26C power relay and 26D BTSI relay. If no ground is present, an open between the limit switch and relay pack exists. Repair open in wire. 

Mechanical Door Full Open Switch – Ensure limit switch is being fully depressed with door latched in full open position. If not, adjust the switch or the door full open striker as needed for proper activation. 

If the switch is fully depressed, check each wire for continuity to ground. 

Ground present on only one of two wires while switch is activated – faulty switch. 

Ground present on both wires with switch activated – switch is ok. 

Check for an open between the switch and the relay pack. Check for ground at 26C power relay and 26D BTSI relay. If no ground is present, an open between the limit switch and the relay pack exists. Repair open in wire.
