Toyota Sienna:
Start the van with the system stowed. Make sure the van does shift from Park.
Open the passenger sliding door and deploy the system. The van should not shift out of Park.
Stow the system and close the passenger door so the van will shift out of Park.
Not available on ADA or any manual side entry ramp.
Available as an option on rear entry vans check W/O if needed.
Honda Odyssey:
Start with being in a clear area and all doors closed, driver seat belt engaged.
Open the passenger sliding door and deploy the system.
Look at the dash you will see the driver seat belt light on the dash turn on and the driver door will show open.
Shift the van to drive then let your foot off the brake. The van should jump back into Park.
Chrysler RU:
Start with all doors closed, van running foot on the brake, you should be able to shift out of park and in any gear.
Open the passenger sliding door.
Try to shift out of Park. The knob should not move.
Close the passenger sliding door and the van will shift.
Toyota Sienna rear entry (if equipped):
Start with the rear hatch closed, ignition on.
Shift the van through the gears and return to Park.
Open the rear hatch, the van should not shift out of park.
Close the rear hatch, the van will shift again.
