Toyota OEM-Style Troubleshooting Manual 

Issue: Power Kneel Not Raising 

Initial Checks: 

  1. 1. Verify LED panel status – ensure the BTSI/Power light is ON. 

  1. 2. Check the Power Kneel UP/DOWN fuse. 

  1. 3. Confirm the Power Kneel override switch is connected. 

Diagnostic Questions: 

  1. 1. Does the OPEN command light up when pressing a button? 

  1. 2. Is the Power Kneel switch turned ON? 

  1. 3. Does the CLOSE command light up when pressing a button? 

  1. 4. What is the status of the Power Kneel on the LED panel? 

  1. 5. Are the limit switches installed correctly? 

Reference Notes & Locations: 

  • 1. Toyota/Honda: Fuse and relay components are located under the rear bench (passenger side on RU), rear driver corner under the plastic cover. 

  • 2. Toyota/RU: Power Kneel override switch is located under the rear bench. 

  • 3. Honda: Power Kneel override switch is located on the driver rear quarter panel behind the rear bench.
